Hi! My name is Elena Jacinto and I am a New York trained licensed massage therapist (1988). Licensed in FL #MA 67330 and NY#004374-1 and Maine MT7880 I relocated from Long Island NY to Vero Beach in 2011 and have enjoyed continuing my career in this lovely seaside town, home to exceptional people! With over 38 years experience as a massage therapist/wellness professional I bring knowledge and skill to my massage practice. I began my career in a busy physical therapy office back in 1985 and stayed there for 13 years . I went on to a 1000 hour (NY required) massage therapy program in 1986. Wanting to learn more about health I finished a bachelors degree in Health Education from CW Post Long Island University in 2004, a masters degree in Health Education from Adelphi University, NY in 2006, completed doctoral program in Human Sexuality Education and carry another Masters in Education from Widener University, PA in 2009. The years I spent in higher education has allowed me to better understand the many aspects of Human Health and Wellness. My 12 years of Health and Wellness Coaching trained through Wellcoaches and United States Health Foundation training also allows me to help folks get closer and achieve their desired health goals. In order to achieve balanced health and wellness the physical, spiritual, emotional and behavioral components need to be explored and unified. It is a pleasure to assist clients towards achieving a life with less discomfort, greater peace and optimal health! I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to serve as a wellness/health practitioner. Due to the infectious nature of viruses/bacteria massage carries some health risks and be assured I follow all DOH safety practices. I do all I can to remain as safe, strong and healthy as possibly to bring relaxation and relief to those in need. There is a strict 100% cancelation policy during high season (Nov-May) with less than 72 hours notice. My apologies, but as you can imagine, weekly and bi-weekly time slots are in high demand during high season (Nov-May). This fee must be paid before a new appointment can be scheduled.
All clients can request an appointment online and I will do all I can to schedule an in appointment for you.
